Why and Who?
Purpose: IF the desire of your heart is to be fully alive, awake and in love with God, centered in Christ,become stronger in faith, Spirit-led, more authentically the person you were created to be, and compassionately engaged in the world, THEN you must "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). My prayer is that you will find here many ways to align your heart with God's heart and keep the sacred lines of communication open.
The Caretaker: Wanda G. Schwandt: married my high school sweetheart for 21+ years, mother of two young adults, earned Master of Divinity from Lancaster Theo. Seminary, PA, and approved for ordination in the Penn Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ pending a church call. I am also a Spiritual Companion (director) and lead women's retreats.
As a freelance writer, my devotions and articles have been published in The Secret Place, Today's Christian Woman, Church Libraries, and Pray! magazines, plus For Better, For Worse: Devotional Thoughts for Married Couples.
